At the invitation of the Commercial Section of the Australian Consulate-General in Guangzhou, recently, the Wuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, together with the Municipal Forestry Bureau and the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led Wuzhou-produced macadamia nut cultivation and production enterprises to Guangzhou to attend the Australian Macadamia China Promotion Launch Ceremony and Product Exhibition.
It is understood that this promotion event was the first macadamia nut product promotion fair held in China by the Australian Trade Commission, with more than 650 Australian producers and investors participating. Cenxi Xinfeng Agricultural Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. and Cenxi Xinchang Nut Development Co., Ltd. of Wuzhou were invited to exhibit.
The high-quality macadamia nuts produced in Wuzhou brought by the two enterprises were welcomed by traders from various places and local residents. Australian macadamia, also known as the Australian nut, got its name because it originated in Queensland, Australia, and ranks first among the world's four famous dried fruits. It is rich in nutrients, and after consumption can lower cholesterol and has a good health-promoting effect on preventing arteriosclerosis.
A relevant person in charge of the office of the Wuzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce introduced that Wuzhou's delegation to this macadamia nut product exhibition will focus on extensive promotion around the green labeling of exported agricultural and sideline products and their nutritional value. The aim is to use the promotion service platform of the Commercial Section of the Australian Consulate-General in Guangzhou to help Wuzhou enterprises further understand the development, quality, and positioning of Australia's green export industry, and, by strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Australian enterprises, to help Wuzhou's high-quality agricultural and sideline products enter the high-end market.
