How to fertilize young longan trees? Latest technical method tutorial
The management of young longan trees focuses mainly on promoting shoot growth and expanding the canopy, so to meet their growth needs, fertilizer must be applied adequately. So how should young longan trees be fertilized? Let's find out together. 1. Root fertilization Newly planted seedlings can be fertilized once they have grown new roots. Since seedlings often sprout before rooting after planting, fertilizer should be applied once when the new shoots turn green and mature. However, perennial seedlings have underdeveloped root systems, so fertilizer should be applied lightly, preferably diluted with water and drenched on, to facilitate root absorption. In the year of planting, water and fertilize once every half month, mainly with thin manure, and a low-concentration urea and compound fertilizer solution can also be drenched on. Two years after planting, apply topdressing twice: once before new shoots sprout, apply a shoot-promoting fertilizer mainly of nitrogen fertilizer, and once when the new shoots turn green, apply a shoot-strengthening fertilizer mainly of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Liquid fertilizer can be drenched on directly, while chemical fertilizer can be applied in a ring-shaped trench along the drip line of the canopy. The amount of fertilizer depends on the size of the plant. For the shoot-promoting fertilizer, apply 5-10 kg of diluted human manure urine fertilizer per plant; for the shoot-strengthening fertilizer, apply 0.05-0.15 kg of compound fertilizer per plant.

What to Do When Young Fruit Trees Suffer from Twig Blight? Causes and Preventive Measures
In winter, when temperatures are cold, most young fruit trees begin with the current-year shoots of the canopy, gradually losing water and drying up. This phenomenon is called twig blight. Twig blight causes the canopy to become incomplete and the tree shape to become disordered, delaying fruiting, and in severe cases the aboveground parts will all die. So what causes twig blight in young fruit trees?

How to Safely Overwinter Young Cherry Trees? A Detailed Guide to Management Measures
Although the survival rate of planted cherry saplings is high, young trees find it difficult to safely pass the harsh winter. Because the branches of young trees are not very winter-hardy, they become dehydrated, shriveled and dried out, a phenomenon commonly known as "shoot dieback." Winter shoot dieback in young cherry trees is fairly common, occurring to varying degrees in most years

How to prevent twig dieback in young pomegranate trees in severe winter? Detailed explanation of cold protection methods
Twig dieback in young pomegranate trees refers to the phenomenon in which some branches shrink and dry out or die after the tree overwinters. In northern China, winters are cold and dry, early spring has little rain and much wind, and evaporation is high, while young pomegranate trees grow a lot each year and the pith of the branches has poor water retention. Therefore, in a severe winter, twig dieback is likely to occur.

Key Technical Points for Autumn Management of Young Apple Trees
Young apple trees have relatively strong growth vigor but poor cold resistance. With poor management, they are prone to shoot shriveling after overwintering. In mild cases, growth is poor, the tree shape becomes disordered, and fruiting is delayed. In severe cases, the entire tree dies, causing missing plants and affecting orchard establishment. If autumn field management is strengthened to promote robust tree growth and well-filled, mature branches, overwintering ability can be effectively enhanced and dehydration shriveling can be prevented. The main autumn management measures are introduced below.

Key Technical Points for Managing Young Citrus Trees for High Yield and Tree Shape
The management goal for young citrus trees is to promote multiple flushes of new shoots and the emergence of vigorous branches, accelerate the number of branching orders, form a full canopy as quickly as possible, and establish a strong framework, laying a good foundation for high and stable yields. To achieve this, the management technical measures should include: 1. Timely
