88 sq m rooftop garden took three years to complete, netizens praise it as a summer cooling sanctuary
My house is a linked villa, with the 3rd and 4th floors plus a rooftop. I bought it as a second-hand home that the previous owner had renovated but never lived in; the rooftop walls and floor were all tiled. Since I had never kept flowers or plants before, I built the rooftop garden based only on my own ideas...

50 sq m rooftop transformed into a sky garden, netizens exclaim it feels like being inside a painting
50 sq m rooftop turned into a "sky imperial garden," with three thousand beauties in the harem! My clothes drying rack is the movable kind, usually tucked in a corner, and pulled out when drying clothes. This keeps the activity space open, and in spring and autumn I can occasionally bring a chair here to drink...

A 50 sq m small garden on a sixth-floor rooftop terrace: how can it have scenery in all four seasons?
I have a small terrace garden. This is the sixth floor, a rooftop terrace of 50 sq m+, facing south with a north-facing back! A self-built building by the riverbank in the city center of a small city in the south! The small garden is already more than half done! The key to whether it is beautiful is plants + landscaping, achieving scenery in all four seasons...

100 sq m self-built rooftop garden landscaping: a beautiful garden is not only about flowers
100 sq m self-built "rooftop garden" landscaping. A good-looking rooftop garden is just an ordinary garden. For someone who does not put much care into growing flowers, the thought of better to join in than to stand by the water longing for fish spurred the plants and flowers to grow ever more abundant, although the plants...

Building a DIY grape trellis gazebo on the rooftop cost 2300 yuan. Netizens: Most people can't pull this off.
Spent 2300 yuan to DIY a "grape trellis gazebo" on the rooftop. Preservative-treated wood is 2900 per cubic meter. The waterproofing was already done on the new house built last year. The structure is entirely a full reinforced concrete cast-in-place frame! Doing it yourself is cheaper. Preservative-treated wood, buying materials, paint, all...

80 sq m rooftop terrace turned into a hundred-flower garden with nearly a thousand pots of flowers, netizens exclaim it's spectacular
Tinkering away to make a "hundred-flower garden" on an 80 sq m rooftop terrace. In winter a cold snap froze to death 80% of the rooftop flowers I'd spent over a year tending, and it took a whole month just to clear away the corpses. Then I started all over again - isn't the whole point of being a gardener the love of tinkering! Dwarf...
