What kind of cactus plant is the Astrophytum?
Astrophytum, also known as bishop's cap and star crown, is the representative species of the genus Astrophytum. It originates from the United States and Mexico. It starts out spherical, then becomes oblate-spherical and even disc-shaped. With its dignified posture, deep green skin inlaid with white dots, and elegant tufts of woolly hairs, this exquisite balance and stateliness make it a plant one never tires of looking at, giving a sense of stability.
