Rice is an important food crop in the world. Besides being edible, rice can also be used to make sugar and brew wine, and the rice husks and rice straw are used as livestock feed. Rice likes to grow in places with higher temperatures, shorter sunshine and high humidity, and it does not have very high requirements for soil. So what is the order of the rice planting process? What are the key points of seedling raising techniques?

1. What is the order of the rice planting process?

Sun-drying the seeds, selecting the seeds, preparing the seedling bed, sowing, transplanting the seedlings, recovering from transplanting, management after rice transplanting, fertilizing, pest and disease control, draining water, harvesting, drying, and storing in the warehouse.

2. What are the key points of rice seedling raising techniques?

1. Rice seed treatment

Before raising seedlings, we need to treat the seeds, so that the germination rate of the seeds can be increased. If we want to increase the germination rate of the seeds, the first thing to do is to sun-dry the seeds, and then use some chemicals to soak the seeds. Generally, Baike or prochloraz plus cartap hydrochloride is used with water to soak the seeds. Put the seeds in and soak them for about 5 to 6 minutes.

Then we use imidacloprid wettable powder to soak them for about two days. Finally, take the seeds out to carry out the sprouting work. When about 80% of the seeds have already sprouted white shoots, we can sow them. Using this method can effectively increase the germination rate of the seeds, and can also effectively prevent some pests and diseases.

2. Water management

During rice seedling raising, water management is also very important. The seedling bed does not need to be watered too much; generally it is enough to soak the seedbed surface through. Secondly, when the water in the field decreases, we should water in time and keep the soil moisture at the original humidity.

The water in the rice seedling field must not be too much, otherwise it will affect the emergence of rice seedlings, and it will also easily lead to some pests and diseases, causing the rice seedlings to die. If we are raising seedlings in some relatively dry areas, we should water in time during bed preparation and soak the soil thoroughly, which can prevent some seedlings from dying. During the period when rice is emerging, reasonable humidity in the field must be ensured.

3. Seed soaking and sprouting

Put all the previously treated seeds into a mesh bag. During sprouting, the temperature must also be controlled well. Only a suitable temperature can ensure the seeds sprout smoothly. The temperature during sprouting is best controlled at about 30 to 32 degrees. When the sprout roots grow to about 2 mm, take them out and put them in a cool place. At this time, they can also be sown. Next is the seedling raising stage. After sprouting, the seedlings will gradually grow. Generally, when they grow to the length of chopsticks, they can be pulled out and transplanted again, otherwise they cannot produce rice.

4. Transplanting

All the seedlings should be pulled out, then tied into small bundles of seedlings, all transferred to the large rice field, and then these seedlings should be inserted again, but the spacing should be kept a bit larger. If they are too close together, it will affect the normal growth of rice and also affect the yield of rice.
