In the orchard grow 4029 Honey Snow pears and Taichung No. 2 Crystal pears that have been growing for more than ten years, as well as the Hengshan pear, the "coarse pear" of memory that has already been eliminated by the commercial market.
The orchard owner, an old farmer, was getting on in years and had originally planned to painfully abandon the pear orchard. It just so happened that Wu Yinning and a group of young people who had moved to the countryside could not bear to see it go, and so "foolhardily" leased it to take care of it.
When they first moved in, they were enthusiastic and curious but not professional at all. Simply because they discovered nest after nest of birds, they decided not to spray any pesticides in the entire orchard. Because they did not like forced matchmaking, they let the pear trees fall in love freely and become pregnant, without grafting, without ripening acceleration, without using drugs for standardized control, and without advocating whitening. Therefore they also did not bag the fruit or shade it, letting the pears bathe in the essence of heaven and earth, sun and moon.
Finally the fifth and sixth lunar months arrived (July and August on the Gregorian calendar), and the nearly wild pears, natural in appearance and uneven in size, ripened one after another (there was no way to make them uniform).
