The New Taipei City Government Health Department continued tracing the downstream flow of rolled lamb from "Hua Yuan Company" and "Wei Feng Company." Inspection found that a total of 6 downstream businesses had purchased rolled lamb from Hua Yuan Company. The Health Department sealed a total of 552 kg on site, which will subsequently be destroyed.

The 6 downstream businesses include "Xian Hui Top-Quality Hot Pot," "Authentic Lamb Rong," and "Zhang Fried Rice and Fried Noodles," located in Xinzhuang; "Cheng Feng Meat Co., Ltd." in Wugu; "Mei Chi Food Co., Ltd." in Zhonghe; and "Ming Yi Food Co., Ltd." in Shulin.

The New Taipei City Government Health Department calls on the public: food or food additives that are adulterated or counterfeit must not be manufactured, processed, blended, packaged, transported, stored, sold, imported, exported, used as gifts, or publicly displayed. Violators may be punished under Article 49 of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation with imprisonment of up to 5 years, criminal detention, or a fine of up to NT$8 million, or both. In addition, businesses should implement self-management to confirm the sources of food and ingredients. If they use rolled lamb from Hua Yuan Company or Wei Feng Company, they should immediately stop selling it and report to the health authorities.
