20120415 "Sea Hunters VS Mahi-mahi" Event Photos
"Pigs eat, dogs sleep, crabs walk" is how the sea hunter "Uncle Xi" aptly describes the harsh ways of surviving at sea -- amid the wind and waves, the other end of the fishing line pulls along the fisherman's disappointment, despair, or wild joy.
The mahi-mahi (Coryphaena hippurus) is like a blade in the sea; its fierce speed in tailing and hunting flying fish has earned it the name "flying fish tiger." The very words "ghost," "blade" and "tiger" are enough to sketch the mysterious, sharp and ferocious image the mahi-mahi has in the eyes of fishermen.
Through fishing line and fish hook, the storm-tested sea hunter and the ghostly, ferocious mahi-mahi meet on the boundless, borderless ocean -- at the two ends of the fishing line, the sea hunter and the mahi-mahi begin a duel of life!
