Australian Permaculture Ecovillage Visit Sharing Session July 12, 2014

Recently, Taiwanese society has been going through major changes. How exactly should the issues of the trade in services agreement and nuclear energy be resolved?

What kind of decision is a good one? The endless turmoil in society leaves us anxious and unsettled.

I think the answer to the question lies in our hearts.

In the end, the solutions all come back to this: what kind of life does each one of us on this land of Taiwan want?

What values do we hold as we face our own lives, how do we view the lives of others, and how do we view the society we all live in together.
Between 2014/4/17 and 4/28, Teacher Hui-Yi led 21 Taiwanese companions to Australia to visit ecocommunities, ecovillages, and community gardens.

This short journey showed us the beauty of a simple and happy life.

And this beautiful life is not always about living apart from the world; some people actively embrace others, connecting people from backgrounds as diverse as a rainbow,

with diverse abilities, wisdom and strength to change their communities and co-create a dreamed-of new society....

Through this sharing gathering, we invite everyone to think together,

about how we can build our own communities and society, instead of letting others design the framework for us!
