Home at Nansalu has been established for five years now.

Over the past five years, we have been doing the same thing all along - making delicious crisp plums.

But this is not an easy task, and we have run into many, many situations one after another......

For example, this year, cold damage caused plum yields to drop sharply, with knock-on effects on growth, but this is nature's doing, and apart from going along with it, all we can do is wait with time. We still insist on preserving the flavor of the plums, and after much deliberation, we decided to jar them when they have a slight hint of bitterness, then let the crisp plums absorb the flavor under refrigeration. After a week, the flavor of the crisp plums is just about to become beautiful.

Over the past five years, we have been constantly adjusting, and the next adjustment is how we adapt to harvest seasons under extreme weather that are completely different from the past. Plums are no longer a crop that can be harvested around Qingming; and since we insist on not spraying pesticides and not using chemical fertilizers, we leave everything to nature. We are ready, and when they have transformed into their most beautiful form, that will be the moment to share them with everyone.

PS Because the yield is small, we are not offering green plums for sale this year.
