Organic loquats with a beehive attached, how much is a bunch worth

A few days ago, while sorting organic loquats with volunteers from Yangbangban that had been trucked down from the Piyaway tribe in Fuxing Township, Taoyuan, I was startled to find a precious string of honeycomb on the loquats, which reminded me of an overseas report discussing just how much a natural environment with fireflies is really worth.

In the end, the children even got to experience the Swinhoe's pheasant trail, and were so happy they did not want to go home. We agreed to come back again next year!
