Walking, with our own feet, feeling the most direct heartbeat of the earth.

Walking, at the meeting place of mountains and sea, feeling the breath that the two exchange and flow between them.

When the transportation construction of Hualien and Taitung is imagined without limit, what the myth of speed leads to is not real scenery, but cheap and stereotyped consumption; the expressions of those mountains and the moods of the sea become scenery that flashes past the eyes and brushes by, left behind and forgotten by people...

There are people who, because they saw the mountains here and saw the coast here that retains the traces of the years, took off their shoes and stood barefoot on this land, little by little feeling the life force of the mountains and sea;

There are people who, forced to leave their hometown, carrying the name of Kavalan, settled by the Pacific coast, learning anew, cultivating a culture of going to sea, coexisting with the sea;

There are people who, in today's plastic generation, from which life can no longer be separated because of convenience, still choose the wisdom of the local culture of the past, using different plant fibers and hand weaving to meet the needs of life in all its aspects.

2. Registration deadline: April 14, 2016, Thursday, 5 p.m.

3. Accepted applicants will be sent a payment notice by email; after receiving the acceptance notice, accepted applicants should remit payment through O'Pay within one day to secure their registration.

4. For those who fail to complete the procedures by the deadline, places will not be reserved; thank you for your understanding.

5. Friends under 18 should first download the parental consent form, and after confirming parental consent and signing it, fax it back to Kuroshio (FAX: 03-8246717).

Refund information:

1. Notify Kuroshio 21 days or more before the activity departure date: after deducting administrative fees already paid, 90% of the fee is refunded;
2. Notify Kuroshio 11 to 20 working days before the activity departure date: after deducting administrative fees already paid, 80% of the fee is refunded;
3. Notify Kuroshio 4 to 10 working days before the activity departure date: after deducting administrative fees already paid, 70% of the fee is refunded;
4. Notify Kuroshio 1 to 3 working days before the activity departure date: after deducting administrative fees already paid, 30% of the fee is refunded;
5. If Kuroshio is notified on or after the day of activity departure, no refund is given. If the activity is cancelled, the full fee is refunded.

Activity notes:

1. This session takes 20 regular participants, accepted in order of registration, until each session is full.

2. In the event of a typhoon, strong wind and rain, or other force majeure events, or if fewer than 15 people register, the activity will be cancelled.
