Radish Cake Making Experience: Play Rice-ism Takes You to Make Rice Snacks by Hand

General News By Emily Carter 0 views

Rice is an important staple food in Taiwan, China. Although people's dietary habits have gradually become Westernized, the wide variety of rice-based snacks remains an indispensable star at many important festivals. For example, radish cake (turnip cake) is a must-have during Chinese New Year, and eating tangyuan on the winter solstice also reminds everyone that they are about to turn one year older! On this outing, we will ask Aunt A-Yuan of Neicheng to teach everyone how to make radish cake with freshly ground rice milk, and then use the downtime while steaming to make tangyuan together, followed by a ginger syrup sweet tangyuan afternoon tea in the afternoon.
