Yuanshan Ecological Education Center's "Fantastic Journey of Seeds Pi" Sets Out Again
"Life of Pi: The Fantastic Journey of Seeds" weaves the hundred mysteries of seeds into games in a fun and lively way. Through the Sorting Hat, participants will learn about the four different ways seeds are dispersed and their secrets, and through a series of hands-on experiences and game challenges they will discover that seeds must not only meet sufficient conditions for survival, but also face the impact of human behavior, before they can successfully gain new life.
Through the vivid and interesting activities, participants learn about the possible effects of disturbances to the natural ecosystem, and use this to think deeply about what environmentally friendly actions we might take to help seeds complete their journey and take root and thrive.
At the end of the activity, each participant can also make a "Life of Pi: Journey Memories" seed keepsake to take home, so that they can see every plant and tree around them more deeply and make it part of their life.
