Sweet-scented beauty ice cream blends with Hakka honey tea fragrance, fully showcasing the eight-smoke ecological style
Sitting outside the Bayien Branch Office, we took a bite of the "Tianxiang Meiren" ice cream from the Ecological Kitchen. Besides the refreshing, astringent hint of mild bitterness from the tea, there was also a faint, subtle fragrance that calmed a restless mind along with the cool taste. Liao Renhui, CEO of the Taiwan Ecological Engineering Development Foundation, said this is the first time the Ecological Kitchen has used the Taiwan native aquatic herb "Daye Tianxiang" (large-leaf pond fragrant herb) to make an ice cream product. It can be enjoyed at the Bayien Branch Office and also ordered online.
◎The "Mountain Forest Lecture Hall" will hold a soft opening on 9/13 (Sat) from 10:00 to 16:00, with on-site tasting activities for Daye Tianxiang products including ice cream and freshly brewed tea. The "Mountain Forest Lecture Hall" is located at the 6.2 km mark on the Yangjin Highway; you can take the Royal Bus and get off at the "Tianlai" stop.
