2. Event location: Neicheng Village, Yuanshan Township, Yilan
3. Who can take part: No age limit; the trip goes ahead once 12 people sign up.
4. What the event includes:
1) Harvesting roselle in the field: Admire the flowers while harvesting the calyces. Beyond the visual pleasure of a beautiful roselle field, we also hope to let everyone learn how this food ingredient grows, for an educational and sensory learning trip in the field.
2) Lunch with local, friendly ingredients: We give priority to fresh, pesticide-free local ingredients, so that the abundance of Lanyang produce can be shown on your table. It is not just filling but also refined, free from today's food safety worries.
3) Make safe candied fruit yourself: Aunt A-Wan of Neicheng personally teaches a simple roselle candied fruit recipe, so everyone comes away from this trip with both a full belly and something to take home, jarring up this post-flower-viewing sweetness to share with family and friends.
