Trendy Life: Several Paths to a Better Life, registration closes on June 8
Standing on a street corner, perhaps you are hesitating about where to go next.
For the past few years you have been endlessly chasing ever-updating explosive information, a continuous life that never once paused for breath,
the back-and-forth tug between dreams and reality,
and that heart which has almost given up imagining a beautiful life
--but it does not matter, my dear.
We have all been lost, all hesitated, all been bought off by this world with every kind of threat and enticement;
we have all, trembling with fear or with eyes shut and the voice in our hearts turned off, stepped onto what this society calls the smooth path.
Yet even in perfect comfort there is always a call that cannot be escaped;
and that call comes from doubt about the present situation, and from the unknown of the future.
How do we make the beautiful take form?
These are the several paths that the Kuroshio will reveal this summer
--if you have never arrived, then try setting out.
Set out, for the call of the great blue ocean, breathing together with this land beneath your feet,
a dream is never a castle in the air, but is realized in every firm step.
Come!
Lift the cover of this summer,
on the not-far east coast of the island, a group of life practitioners nurtured by the blue Pacific,
wearing stories of love and courage, are ready to meet you.
