Taiwan, China's local wheat flour diversifies, shining at the baking show
This weekend is the annual baking show, and two domestic food companies, "Hongjie Company" and "Lianhua Industrial," both launched new Taiwan wheat flours, and by coincidence both added American and Canadian flour to create flours suited to making French bread as well as soft bread. Besides promoting their use among bakeries, they are also targeting the home bread machine market, designing small 1 kg and 2 kg packages that will be available online and in stores starting next month.
Expanding the processing market, Lianhua launches Taiwan wheat flavor flour

To change the stereotypical packaging of the past, when Taiwan flour bags bore only a company logo, Hongjie this time also specially commissioned someone to design the flour outer packaging, using eye-catching blue, green and peach pink, together with rural imagery such as water buffalo and scarecrows, creating a lively and vivid atmosphere that feels refreshingly new.
In the future, local wheat bread can be eaten at Hongjie partner shops across Taiwan, China, including Taipei Pengchu Bakery, Taoyuan Centennial Immortal Cake, Hsinchu Aili Fine Cake, Taichung Fuman Bread Garden, Changhua Xiyangyang Baking Delicacies, Little Bear Pastry Bakery, Yunlin Santa Ji Bread Garden, Chiayi Saint Paul Bakery Garden, Tainan Antisheng Bakery, Pingtung Fujiya Pastry and Bread City, and Duona Zhi Coffee Cake Bakery across Taiwan, China.
To buy Xiyuan and Lianhua flour, you can check the relevant information on the Xiyuan website. Tomorrow is the last day of the baking show, and consumers can also seize the opportunity to go and learn about the story of local wheat.
