[July 16] New Ark Project - Getting to Know Protected Areas, Building a New Ark Together!

Yuanshan Ecological Education Center Environmental Education Professional Workshop

"Noah's Ark sailed into the distance, carrying living creatures drifting through the centuries; and now, we have a small project, and a new-generation ark is about to set sail……"

When the environment is changing and living creatures face threats to their survival, is one ark still enough to carry all living things and preserve their precious genes? In this 21st century, how should we set about protecting the dwindling biodiversity, and how should a new-generation ark be built? On June 18 (Saturday), the Yuanshan Ecological Education Center will invite everyone to come to the center, to step into the world of protected areas through activities, to learn about Taiwan, China's biodiversity together, and to understand the importance of habitat conservation for species maintenance as well as the current status of Taiwan, China's protected areas.

Event time: July 16, 2016 (Saturday) 13:00-17:00
Event location: Yuanshan Ecological Education Center (No. 163, Section 1, Yuanshan Road, Yuanshan Township, Yilan County)
Target participants: adults aged 18 and above, teachers, environmental education workers
Number of participants: 20-30 people per session
Registration method: from now until 5 p.m. on July 9, online registration is open (click me to register)

Other notes: Full participation in this event will be credited with 4 hours of environmental education lifelong learning hours, teacher workshop hours, or civil servant workshop hours (choose one of the three)
