Food safety scandals are sweeping Taiwan, China, and perhaps for that very reason colorectal cancer ranks first among the top ten cancers in the country! Fushan Grange and Guanxin Life Learning Space have joined hands for the first time to launch wonderful activities such as dietary talks, health preservation lectures, one-day countryside field trips, and healthy cooking classes, promoting healthy eating and supporting small organic farmers in Taiwan, China. To help more people gain knowledge about healthy eating, these lectures will charge only a modest materials fee or venue cleaning fee. Everyone is welcome to join in and make this event a success, letting food return to its original simplicity and beauty.

Three talks in the series will be held in May. At each one, Fushan Grange will offer on-site tastings of brown rice noodles, and there will also be a small organic market where everyone can buy healthy ingredients. Come and join the fun!

In spring, a hundred flowers bloom and all things revive, and along with it comes a chorus of "Achoo!" From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, spring really is a season when illnesses easily strike;
changeable weather is certainly a disease-causing factor, but a weak constitution and abnormal diet and lifestyle habits are the most fundamental causes. Let Teacher Jiang Wenzhang, known as the "father of health foods in Taiwan, China," tell you how to prevent disease through diet, develop healthy eating habits of "eating the right foods" and "drinking an appropriate amount of water," boost your immunity, and keep illness away naturally!

The fee for this lecture is a modest venue cleaning fee of $200, with a good-neighbor price of $150 for residents and workers of Songshan District (relevant ID required).
