Xidiyiao Learning Farm Seeks a Fruit Tree Work Partner

Hello everyone, Xidiyiao Learning Farm is looking for a new work partner, because Yiqian is moving to a sister business in the upstream and downstream supply chain, and Jinzhi, who needs to care for the adults and children at home, can only come over when it is time to cook longan and ginger soup. So we need to find a new work partner.

Xidiyiao currently has 4 farming friends in total, and we produce: pesticide-free Liu Cheng oranges (Citrus sinensis 'Liucheng'), Diwang mandarins, red-fleshed mandarins, Fremont mandarins, dried longan, longan and ginger soup, and fruit vinegar.

1. Job duties are as follows:

(1) Off-season (February-September): three days a week at Xidiyiao accompanying the farming friends, helping to record how the fruit trees are growing, and handling daily shipments. The other two days are spent working together with our upstream and downstream partners.

(2) Peak season (October-January): Xidiyiao's crops enter the harvest season one after another, so you will be responsible for organizing orders and shipping.

2. This job requires getting along with both fruit trees and people, so we suggest the following traits:

(1) You like being around fruit trees, and ideally you can read the trees, or you are interested in learning about them.

(2) You are willing to serve people and help consumers and distribution channels obtain agricultural products smoothly.

(3) You are capable of being alone, and ideally you very much enjoy quiet, because most of the time, apart from the fruit trees and farming friends, you must work on your own.

(Xidiyiao is a small business completely focused on farming and agricultural production, so please really make sure you like agriculture, and not leisure-style agriculture, but agriculture that is always being cultivated.)

(4) You like the countryside and are not afraid of mosquito and insect bites.

(5) You are strong and fit, and you like moving goods.

(6) You are upright and honest.

3. Working hours and location:

(1) Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

(2) The workplace is mostly in Zhongliao, and occasionally in Taichung (there is a dormitory in Zhongliao where you can stay).
