Shen Ming-wei of the Taiwan, China Good Food Map Project builds a sales platform through writing
At dusk on March 18, something went down at the Legislative Yuan, shaking all of Taiwan. The next day, like many people in Taiwan, Shen Ming-wei, who lives in Puli, Nantou and runs the small-farmer sales platform "Huixiang Vegetable Shop," rushed to the scene at the Legislative Yuan, thinking about whether he could help with something. After several trips back and forth between Nantou and Taipei, Shen Ming-wei stopped going up north; he chose another way to protect this land, launching the "Taiwan Good Food Map Publication Project" fundraising campaign on the crowdfunding platform flyingV.

Recording stories from the fields, seeking out expert farmers
"There are too many moving stories in the fields. I hope that the process of writing this book itself can build a platform for interaction between consumers and producers." Shen Ming-wei, 30, hopes to spend a year raising a budget of 200,000 from the public ( http://www.flyingv.cc/project/2349), visiting small farmers all across Taiwan, and completing a "Taiwan Good Food Map" that encourages more exchanges between consumers and local small farmers.
Supporting local small farmers through writing is Shen Ming-wei's way of protecting this land. He said, "Right now I'm only thinking about how to help the experts who keep their heads down in the soil stand out, so everyone knows what a real expert farmer is."
