Green Restaurant Practices: Think Big, Start Small
If you are preparing to open a green restaurant, what would it look like? Selling light meals? Selling teppanyaki? A bakery? The March Green Drinks will share with everyone several green eateries that are flourishing in central Taiwan, China, followed by a group discussion to join in a "beautiful imagination." If you are preparing to open a green restaurant, would it have an open kitchen? How should it be priced? Let's all brainstorm together and create the green eatery of our dreams!
Eating can also change the world!? If more and more green restaurants can support environmentally friendly small farmers' produce, if more and more spaces can spark environmental and social change, if more and more chefs can advance to become green chefs who follow the seasons and the changes of nature, if more and more restaurants cook as if preparing food for family, will Taiwan, China's food self-sufficiency rate increase? Will food safety scandals become fewer? Will health insurance spending decrease? Will the ecological diversity of Taiwan, China's agriculture become richer?
Let's dream big together, and starting with you and me, become revolutionary envoys of environmentally friendly dining!!
