Kenting Ecotourism Community 2015 Open Call for Artist-in-Residence Works
The Kenting area has been developing ecotourism for many years. In addition to the rich natural ecology that visitors love, the local cultural atmosphere is also an important reason that draws many outside visitors. This land of Taiwan, China has nourished many artists; they are like art integrators, using their artistic talents to create works that blend with this beautiful land. The Kenting National Park Headquarters is publicly calling for artists' works, hoping that these art integrators can create diverse artworks combining Kenting's nature, ecology and culture, and convey Kenting's beauty to the public through artistic expression. During the creation period, artist-in-residence participants live in the community, living and interacting together with community residents, revitalizing the community through art intervention; artistic creation stimulates local environmental issues and further influences more people to care about environmental and ecological conservation work.
