Location: Jiushe Dai'an Temple, Erlin Township, Changhua County, look it up on Google Map.

Time: 5/29 (Sun) 2-5 pm.

Activities:

(1) Cultural and Historical Tour (2-4 pm)

Tour the ecology of the Pond of Life, enjoy feeding the sheep and rabbits. Explore the culture and history of Jiushe Village, especially the different religious temples, and listen to Teacher Huang tell stories of Jiushe. Experience the battle between people and birds in the millet field.

(2) Procession Performance (4-5 pm)

Around 4 pm, the village pilgrimage group returns to Jiushe Dai'an Temple and begins the performance.

(3) Lucky Draw (5-6 pm).

10% chance of winning, with a chance to win purple rice worth 1000 yuan for health, 1 caring unit. Limited to those who register in advance with Teacher Huang ([email protected]).

Transportation:

(1) Driving yourself

Exit at National Highway No. 1 Beidou Interchange, take County Roads 150-143-158 (Douyuan Road about 15 minutes–Ercheng Road about 2 minutes-Jiu'er Road about 3 minutes), and you can reach Jiushe Dai'an Temple in Erlin Township.

(2) Public Transportation

From Taipei to Erlin Jiushe, if you do not drive, you can go to the transfer station next to Taipei Station and take Ubus. Go to the Ubus website to check the timetable and book tickets; the ride takes about 3.5~4 hours. It is recommended to take the 8 o'clock or 10 o'clock Ubus, get off at the stop after Erlin Station (Erlin Christian Hospital), ask people how to get to Jiushe, and walk to Erlin Jiushe Dai'an Temple in about 10 minutes. If making a same-day round trip, please book the 7:25pm Ubus back to Taipei. Arrival back in Taipei is about 23:10pm.
