The reason is nothing other than that today there is a wonderful Pengpai small trip in Yunlin, called "Fun with Food and Farming", and I believe that the adults or children who participated in the experience today will all be able to bring back a heart full of memories. The key point is that the group launched today gives everyone more opportunities to get close to the land and care about everything on the land.

Travel may be a kind of relaxed play; you can go to tourist attractions or amusement parks. But today, we led a group of adults and children to the rural villages of Yunlin for a different kind of rural experience. The appeal of this experience is relaxation, taking things slowly, using both hands and feet, and, most importantly, a heart of care for rural produce and the land. Therefore, on this basis, together with Ah Quan Community in Lunbei Township and Hehe Community in Yuanchang Township, we planned this Fun with Food and Farming small trip. The selling point of this trip is that it lets everyone get close to the land. Many people may have bought peanuts at convenience stores, hypermarkets, retail outlets, and other places, but have they actually walked into the fields? Have they ever seen peanut kernels as bright as pearls? Have they ever seen the tomato's good friend–Xiaohong(the bug family)? Have they ever picked pumpkins with their own hands or felt for themselves the texture of plain boiled eggplant with no added ingredients? Hehehe

After saying so much, I wonder whether your mouths are watering? Many times, everyone is busy with work, busy with their jobs, busy pursuing five children, so gradually they begin to feel distant from their own family and friends. Therefore, at the suggestion of many good friends, this small trip began trying to let everyone experience the most direct local production and local sales, and to hold this small travel experience journey. During it, although the children were a little afraid when they first came to the fields, as they slowly followed the adults' footsteps, they instead became the liveliest and happiest of all. I believe everyone can sense the clues from the photos!

Today's slow travel journey had two communities. The first was Ah Quan Community in Lunbei Township. Under the leadership of community chief executive Brother Azhu, we had an experience full of artistic and cultural atmosphere, experiencing the 15 scenic spots of Ah Quan. Through the art and creative verses in the rural spaces, everyone was kept laughing, and every visitor was stunned that such a small rural village could have so many novel things. Then, following the country lanes, we came to the peanut field that the uncles and the national treasure grandpa had prepared for us. Everyone immediately went down into the field, one by one took their battle positions, and then, at Brother Azhu's command, everyone began to show their childlike hearts. Parents and children pulled peanuts together, pulling and pulling. Then many passersby also passed by, saw us pulling, and joined in together, finding joy in it. Brother Azhu explained the secret to pulling peanuts: squat down, wrap your palm around the peanut vine, then pull backward, and if you are not careful you will fall flat on your back in the soil. At that moment, what came in return was not scolding, but lots and lots of laughter. So everyone, unafraid of the hot weather, became happier the more they pulled, until all the reserved peanuts had been pulled and only then were they willing to stop.

Next, everyone arrived at Ah Quan's duck mother shed. Here, we saw the care of the countryside. Although there were no high-end dishes, there was local deliciousness full of the fields. As everyone looked on, they noticed that the children's mouths were almost watering. At this time, Brother Azhu also saw everyone's longing and let everyone start eating. Then one participating companion blurted out: "Wow…. this community is really thoughtful, and this is even more delicious than mountain delicacies and seafood……"

After everyone slowly finished tasting, they had a cup of lemongrass tea and sat in front of the duck mother shed, chatting and looking at the sky….

Next, we came to Hehe Community in Yuanchang Township. Welcoming us were the community chairman and the community's barefoot brother. After the welcome speech and learning a little about the local religion, we drove to today's destination. The first stop was a greenhouse space. Although its exterior was nothing special, the moment we walked into the greenhouse, everyone's eyes lit up. Why? Because we saw many, many cherry tomatoes. Then the organic brother in the greenhouse began explaining to us the process of coexisting with bugs, as well as everyone's dreams for the future. While listening to the brother explain, our hands never stopped either. Why? Because there were delicious cherry tomatoes!!!!!

So after listening to the brother's explanation, we walked to the pumpkin garden. The barefoot brother had already been waiting here for quite a while. The barefoot brother explained the life of a pumpkin to us and told us about the hearts of the community's many organic brothers toward the land. The barefoot brother even said that he is currently raising funds, mainly hoping to promote more pesticide-free, healthy vegetables and fruits for everyone to taste, but due to funding problems, he can only do it slowly first. He is also currently one of the members of Yunlin Good Products. Every holiday, he goes to sell at the organic entrance courtyard by the Gukeng Green Tunnel. Although sales are not very good, he is still very happy, because he can make friends with people from more places and get out to see consumer habits outside. All right, after listening to the brother's explanation, we also carefully put on gloves. The brother said: however carefully we treat the pumpkins, that is how they will repay us, letting us feel the pumpkin's sweet deliciousness. So, under the brother's inspection one by one, each of us happily picked vegetables and fruits.

By the way, there is more, there is more: the brother also gave us a bonus trip to the eggplant garden, to learn about eggplant, and to let us feel what the texture and taste of freshly blanched eggplant are like.………..
