Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation Announces the Guidelines for the "Ocean Flavor Trendy T-shirt and Bandana" Image Submission

The Kuroshio Current often treats a suitable season for going to sea as a season, which may be long or short, relying on the indications given to us by the waves or wind and rain of the ocean, taking things as they come.
The garment that used to accompany us out to sea with its sweaty smell blends the scent of people, the scent of the sea, the scent of the wind, the scent of light, and perhaps traces of whales and dolphins. Beyond these scenic imprints, we also want to know everyone’s memories of the ocean and whales and dolphins, and we want to invite image submissions to appreciate more people’s depictions of the "ocean flavor," so that we can bring this ocean flavor to the sea and jointly adorn the blue seas and blue skies.

+ Eligibility
Creators full of passion for the sea

+ Submission theme
Imagery related to the ocean or whales and dolphins, regardless of whether it is the Kuroshio Current in the sea or on land that flows warmly and steadily all year round.
*Please download the whale tail logo and Kuroshio standard font provided by Kuroshio, and you may choose either one or use both in the design of the clothing and bandana.

Submission period: March 24, 2014 to April 13, 2014
Voting period: April 16, 2014 to April 25, 2014
Results announced: April 30, 2014

+ Work specifications
Clothing
– Design on one side in one color or on one side in two colors, with off-white organic cotton as the base; the design file must be in CMYK color, with a resolution of 150dpi or above, or you may use the provided template size for the design and indicate the pattern position
– For submitted files, please provide a .jpg file within 3M (if adopted, please provide the original design file)
– Each person may submit at most two works

Bandana
– Design on one side in two colors; the design file must be in CMYK color, with a resolution of 150dpi or above; please use the provided template size for the design
– For submitted files, please provide a .jpg file within 3M (if adopted, please provide the original design file)
– Each person may submit at most two works
– Standard bandana size: 245 x 520mm
*Clothing and bandanas may be designed as a series.

+ Prizes
First Prize: NT$3,000 exactly, one certificate, and two Ocean Flavor Trendy T-shirts or bandanas
Second Prize: one set of Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation picture books (containing 3 volumes), one certificate
Third Prize: one set of Kuroshio Ocean Education Foundation Free Whale and Dolphin notebooks (containing 5 volumes), one certificate
Best Online Popularity Award: one certificate, two tickets from Dolomand Whale Watching Company
*To encourage creativity, the Popularity Award will be selected by online voting popularity from works that did not win awards.
