2012 International Water Dance Festival X Water Garden Organic Farmers' Market

Calling on a hundred people to join together"to rise up for water", so the world can see Taiwan, China dancing for ecology as no one else does!

The 2012 International Water Dance Festival, combined with the organic lifestyle festival held at the Water Garden Organic Farmers' Market, takes place at the Gongguan Tap Water Park, connected by water, opening a whole day of healthy organic rhythm at the circular water stage of the Water Mist Garden plaza and the Water Garden Organic Farmers' Market plaza! Besides young students from National Taiwan University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and Taipei First Girls High School performing the Young Water Show with creations themed on water, there will also be a guest performance by well-known young jazz saxophonist Shen Zijie and a water culture conservation lecture by the Wilderness Protection Association. The dance ecology creative team that convened this event will also bring a Taiwan water dance performance, and hopes even more to call on a hundred people to dance together, so the world can see how much Taiwan, China values the environment, art and ecology! That evening, Australia's national-treasure-level modern dance master, Director of the Mirramu Dance Company and Artistic Creative Centre - Dr. Elizabeth Tauman - will be invited as the finale, with an international master-level ecological dance art legend sharing lecture and brilliant dance film, bringing everyone a brand-new organic lifestyle cultural and creative movement!
