OohChaCha Fresh Sprouts Eaten Naturally, Flip Your Dining Table
A plate piled with brown rice, Taiwan red quinoa, mixed salad greens, buckwheat sprouts and garlicky hummus, simply drizzled with a miso-sesame dressing, served alongside a cake made without added milk, flour, eggs or sugar, and paired with a glass of juice blended from organic beet, organic apple, ginger and lemon - a meal like this would usually be assumed to be what an elderly, health-obsessed mother eats, or perhaps something someone eats because of their faith, needing to observe a vegetarian diet for spiritual practice, which is why they eat so lightly. If that is what you think, you may be in for a big surprise when you see Ooh Cha Cha Natural Food, located at Exit 2 of Guting MRT Station, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows, clean and crisp decor, and a touch of trendiness.
Who says eating a plant-based diet can't become a trend?
That is exactly what Ooh Cha Cha offers: completely additive-free, without excessive cooking, and emphasizing organic, local and simple "raw foodism". Not only is the owner very young, but the customers filling every seat in the shop are all young people too. Ooh Cha Cha is run by four people born in the 1980s, with the main founders being two Americans settled in Taiwan, who hoped to find the "whole food" way of eating best suited to Taiwan as well. Through constant experimentation and development, within just half a year of opening, department stores had already come knocking to discuss store partnerships. Who says eating a plant-based diet can't become a trend?
Ooh Cha Cha's good cooking x Green Vine fresh live sprouts, flipping the dining table together
Ooh Cha Cha uses Green Vine's Baby Salad and sprouts in its cooking, and the process is very straightforward; you can also feel their care in seeking out good ingredients and supporting local agricultural products. The male owner, Spencer, said: "Watching the sprouts grow every day makes me feel great!" Stella told me: "Green Vine's sprouts are so full of vitality. The alfalfa sprouts we bought before had to be used up quickly or we worried they would spoil, but now with Green Vine's alfalfa sprouts, unexpectedly they are still alive after a week, and I don't even know whether I should reorder."
I took some time to come to Ooh Cha Cha with two friends, and each of us ordered a main dish and a drink. The dishes on the menu all have very cute and appealing names (completely freeing people from the stereotype that vegetarian food equals seriousness). I ordered a juice blended from goji berries, banana, organic vegetables, cocoa, homemade almond butter and coconut milk, called "Wolfberry Legend". My friends ordered "Full Berry" and "Fresh Fruit Rhapsody" respectively. If you look only at the ingredients of my drink, you would surely doubt how good it could taste, but please believe me, this is the most special vegetable and fruit juice I have ever had, and its flavor is no less than a glass of chocolate milk!

High-Fiber Chickpea Rice Salad $250
The main dishes, "Whole-Wheat Wild Mushroom Pesto Sandwich" and "High-Fiber Chickpea Rice Salad", generously include plenty of Green Vine sprouts and Baby Salad greens, along with fully handmade sauces and chickpea mash. The unique combinations show rich flavors and different layers of texture, all coming from the original taste of the ingredients, clever and harmonious. After the meal, even my male friend, who normally lives for meat, was full of praise, saying that in the future, losing weight and lowering cholesterol would no longer require painful dieting; just come to Ooh Cha Cha more often to eat. Delicious, healthy and reassuring.
Where is Ooh Cha Cha, where English also works?
Whether you are someone usually spoiled by processed foods and seasonings and in need of retraining your taste buds, or someone who has long been searching for real food, I recommend you must come and try Ooh Chia Chia, a good restaurant that brings us simple happiness!
