Project name: Kaohsiung City Social Affairs Bureau Typhoon Morakot Reconstruction Area Community Empowerment Sustainable Development Plan - Qishan and Shanlin District Empowerment Base

Organization name: Shanlin District Xinhe Community Development Association

Job title: Regional Empowerment Officer / Supervisor

Requirements:
1. Junior college degree or above.
2. Basic community-building skills in project writing, program planning and resource linking.
3. Experience participating in Typhoon Morakot or 921 post-disaster reconstruction is preferred

Job duties:

1. Must have organizing and integrating abilities

2. Must have planning and proposal-writing abilities

3. Promote cooperative mutual-assistance mechanisms among organizations or associations within the region

4. Organizational empowerment and course design within the region

5. Hold a results presentation at the end of the term.

Work period: July 2013 to August 2014 (this project began in January 2013)

Work location: Qishan and Shanlin Districts, Kaohsiung City (residence locally required; assistance can be provided)

Salary: negotiable
