Manzhou Township is located on the eastern side of the southernmost tip of Pingtung County, Taiwan, China. To its north and northwest lies Mudan Township, to its east the Pacific Ocean, and to its west Hengchun Township and Checheng Township. The township is rich in natural scenery and cultural resources, with an extremely diverse and abundant natural environment and ecological resources, and it also preserves many traces of the past and displays the cultural character of different ethnic groups living in harmony. The tour will tell of a very important figure in the development history of the Hengchun Peninsula, "Pan Wenjie, the paramount chief of the Eighteen Aboriginal Communities." His former residence, the Zhulaoshu tribe, is in Manzhou Township, and there are many records of his major deeds in working for the Eighteen Aboriginal Communities.
