Bending and bustling in the rice field, this time not transplanting seedlings but only spreading them out to dry

General News By Emily Carter 0 views

Last weekend the weather was lovely, so the little farmer got up bright and early and joined local environmental volunteers and various civic organizations in a beach cleanup event held by the township office, doing a small part for the Earth we live on.

The place where the little farmer lives is actually only separated from the seaside by a single street; just cross one road and a small path, and you can see the beautiful Pacific Ocean and Guishan Island. The little farmer always tells friends living in the city: "Where I live, there are fields in front and the sea behind." Friends living in the city always find it hard to imagine the little farmer's surroundings. Sometimes, just by standing in the yard or on the balcony, the little farmer can hear the sound of the waves and enjoy the gentle breeze blowing with a slightly salty smell - that is the smell of the sea.

On this ocean, besides Guishan Island, you can also see fishing boats catching fish out at sea, or anglers fishing. After these neighbor uncles and elder uncles catch fish, early in the morning they go along the village roads shouting and selling them on the spot to earn a little pocket money, so in this village, besides fresh vegetables, you can also eat fish just caught from the sea. That taste of the sea is truly fresh and sweet! I am truly grateful for everything nature gives us, so we must love our nature even more wholeheartedly.
