At times like this, gathering around the heated brick bed to taste the autumn harvest and winter stores could not be more relaxing.

"11:40-12:10 Rice Connoisseur"
"Hehe rice," bred exclusively in the mountain villages of Gongliao for 30 years, has a unique texture and rice aroma; at different degrees of milling - white rice, germ rice, and brown rice - each has its own suitable cooking method. Come explore Hehe rice together with the mountain farming family!
"12:10-13:10 Eat Well"
Local seasonal farm dishes always follow the rhythm of heaven through all four seasons, and behind every bite of food there is a philosophy of its own. Eat and chat with the farming family, slowly savoring the stories of the land in the food.
"13:10-13:40 Tanuki Makes Rice Balls"
Hehe rice, paired with field by-products such as white-flowered perilla, native yam, and the nine-hole abalone from the Gongliao intertidal zone - what sparks will collide? Handmake "tanuki rice balls" and take them along for a hike.
"13:40-14:30 Tanuki Stroll and Chat" (free participation)
Follow the tanuki for a stroll into the fields, or be a lounger chatting at the field-side hut - either is fine!
※ The actual activity content will be adjusted according to on-site conditions to ensure everyone has the most complete experience and feelings.
[Activity Fee and Number of Participants]
500 yuan/person; the fee includes "local fresh ingredients, hands-on teaching of Hehe rice cooking, a good winter hot-pot-and-Hehe-rice meal, business tax, etc."; for small children below school age, a meal fee of 50 yuan/person is charged, but parents are asked to make sure they are looked after. (The activity is capped at 18 people, until full.)
[Transportation Reminders]
(1) Driving yourself: entry opens at "Hehe Field-Side Chat Hut" 20 minutes before the activity (from Gongliao Railway Station toward Taoyuangu; you can google "Tianbian Liaoliao" on maps, and signs are visible along the way).
(2) Assisted carpooling 11/27 (Sun): you can gather at Gongliao Railway Station at 11:16, and we will help arrange a shared taxi up the mountain.
(3) Assisted carpooling 11/28 (Mon): at 11:00 there is a free shuttle bus from Gongliao Railway Station up the mountain (get off at "Tianbian Liaoliao"); however, if you take the bus up the mountain, for going down the mountain we must help arrange a shared taxi.
(Carpooling requires sharing a taxi fare of 300 yuan/trip, or paying 50 yuan/person to the driving partner who joins the activity.)
