Chinan Summer Camp: Joyful Mountain Forest Adventure, Childhood Time Machine, Reasons to Let Your Child Join

1. The Chihnan Nature Education Center is affiliated with the Hualien Forest District Office, and its teaching team consists of professional environmental education instructors commissioned from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies at National Dong Hwa University, so the quality of activities is guaranteed.
2. The activities are rich in content, flexible, and combine education with fun. The two-day event lets parents and children explore Hualien together, experience a pollution-free local life in natural ecology, enjoy pure sunshine and locally produced friendly ingredients, and cultivate wonderful parent-child time together.
3. The camp counselors are 5 professional environmental education instructors with an average of about 5.5 years of experience, and 13 summer college interns are also trained for a period of 1 month, so children can learn and grow safely during camp activities. The ratio of counselors to campers is about 1:2 to 1:3, allowing attentive care for every participating camper.
4. Safety is the precondition for all learning. The activity site is the Chihnan National Forest Recreation Area. The 8 nature education centers under the Forestry Bureau have developed a complete set of "Operating Codes of Practices (OCoPs)," carefully assessing all possible risks at each activity site. As long as there is sufficient preparation, many risks can be eliminated before the activity begins.
5. During the camp, accident insurance is provided for campers. The environmental education instructor team and on-site personnel at the recreation area include EMT1 and Red Cross first aid certification, so the front line can immediately handle emergencies.
6. The course arrangement balances activity and quiet, with exciting nighttime forest ecology observation activities, allowing participants to fully experience the beauty of Hualien's low-altitude forest ecology.
7. The children's camp is for students in grades 4-6 of elementary school. The activities are designed to learn how to get along with peers and cultivate problem-solving and mutual communication skills.
8. The lodging environment is certainly not as comfortable as home, but campers can gain the rare experience of safely staying in the Chihnan forest.
9. For the same kind of camp, expensive is not necessarily better; conversely, cheaper camps may also have their limitations. Chihnan's summer camps are comprehensively considered from various aspects such as activity theme, site conditions, and course arrangement, and are absolutely great value for money.

Dates:7/14 (Fri) to 7/15 (Sat) (two-day overnight camp).
Location:Chihnan National Forest Recreation Area, surroundings of Liyu Mountain, and Qingyang Farm.
Eligibility:students entering grades 4, 5, and 6 of elementary school after the September school year begins, 35 people per session (the activity will be canceled if fewer than 18 people register).
Fee:2,000 yuan (including admission, insurance, instructor fees, meals, teaching materials, and transportation, etc.).
