Kun-pin Bo's champion rice, Wanbao female hero Hong Xiang's sweet potatoes, organic wild lotus from the top 1% in Taiwan... such a dreamlike menu appeared on the tables of the "Farmers' Wedding Banquet Concert" in Tugou! The Tugou Rural Art Museum opened its exhibition yesterday, and the production team took on the challenge of hosting a banquet for a thousand people, for the first time finding 17 organic and chemical-free small farmers to provide locally fresh ingredients. Many people tasted whole sweet potatoes and water bamboo shoots for the first time at a banquet, marveling, "So the original flavor of food is this delicious"; the NT$2,000 fundraising tickets sold out completely, firing the first shot for the second year of the Tugou Rural Art Museum.

An agricultural version of the Walk of Fame, the banquet opens the art exhibition

The Tainan City Tugou Rural Culture Association, which has cultivated Tugou for ten years, along with a group of young people who graduated from Tainan National University of the Arts, first proposed last year the concept that "the village is the art museum, and the art museum is the village," using the entire Tugou Village as a canvas and inviting artists and local residents to create together, opening Taiwan's first rural art museum; the "2013 Village House Contemporary Art Exhibition" took it a step further, opening with the traditional farming custom of the "banquet," with a festive red backdrop and professional lighting at the entrance, displaying bananas, bitter melons, and rice flower baskets, just like an agricultural version of the Walk of Fame.
