The FDA pointed out that Cheng I company purchased feed-grade lard from Shin Hao Enterprise and mixed it into edible oils and fats. County and city health bureaus, in their investigations, reported food products processed with the relevant oil products, totaling 258 items to date (complete list in the attachment at the end of this article).

Among the newly added food items in this batch, the more well-known ones include "Kinmen Kaoliang Black Pork Floss" produced by Kinmen Liang Jin Ranch, "Mung Bean Puff" produced by Lu's Ji Xue Hua Zhai Enterprise in Taichung (best before September 15), seven products including scallion pancakes produced by Ma Wei Zhi Zu (Ma Cong Pancake) in Taichung, and ox tongue cakes from Lucky Clover Bakery in Yilan and Fu Xing Lao Yuan Xiang.

However, looking at food manufacturers, Taichung's "Jin Kou Xiang Prepared Foods" currently has 61 various seasoning sauce products affected, and Pingtung's "Taiwan Agricultural and Livestock Products Industry" has 26 pork floss products affected, making them the top two businesses with the most affected product items.

As for downstream food businesses affected by Ting Hsin's imported Vietnamese feed oil used to make lard, there are 68 items in total. The newly added ones include "Scallion Oil Dry Noodles" produced by Wei Chuan Foods, 11 various ramen products produced by Taiwan Santouka, "Marinated Chen Xiang D5, D6 Butterfly Legs" produced by Taiwan CP South Nantou Meat Plant, and fried shallots produced by Pingtung Fu Yuan Agricultural Products and Xiang Zhi Yuan Agriculture and Fishery.

Yong Cheng Materials' oil tanks were sealed yesterday by the Chiayi County Government and fined 30 million yuan.
