This edition of the "Parent-Child Life Festival" is the first attempt to weave themes such as gardening, music, performance, exhibitions, games, everyday handmade crafts, environmental protection and animal protection into the activities, thereby creating opportunities for exchange between generations. For example, grandfathers can take their grandchildren to make wooden toys in the "DIY Woodworking Handcraft Classroom"; "Fun Forest Adventure" lets mothers bring their children to play together in the forest, learn about planting flowers and growing trees, and join relaxed bicycle activities.

There are also rich music and drama performances, with the Shoes Children's Experimental Theater, Wu Chu Troupe, Advantech ACT100 Story Drama Volunteer Troupe and others performing the children's plays "Wow! The Glowing Gem," "The Little Frog Gets Pimples" and "Magic Grandma"; there are also many friendly small farmers and handmade workshops, as well as animal welfare groups taking part in a charity market full of knowledge and care for the Earth, where buying good products also lets you do good; plus a game creation exhibition, children's fitness, fun parent-child competitions and other intellectually stimulating and active events. A raffle is also arranged on site, giving parents and children a great place to go on holidays that combines education with fun, is full of interest and lets them take home goodies.

This edition of the "Parent-Child Life Festival" has nearly 30 groups joining in, and Lin Chun-ying of the organizer "Dream Playground" said: "Every age group has the 'right to play.' This event seeks, through ways that all kinds of family members can experience together, to create for everyone a life day in which all members can play together, enjoy together, appreciate together and explore together, so that our lives can be richer and more diverse." The event runs for two days in total, and the public is welcome to come with the elderly and the young; interested friends should not miss it.
