(1) Nan'ao Natural Farm
The itinerary is never fixed. The next stop was a tribe in Taoyuan, then back from Hualien to Nan'ao Natural Farm. The familiar smells and the natural surroundings gave a feeling of returning to nature and drawing close to it. Nan'ao Natural Farm had also become much livelier. Many friends were so deeply drawn to the Nan'ao soil that they lingered and would not leave. I think this is where the charm of nature lies. There are many people here, with different jobs and different ages, but one thing can be felt in common: everyone here wants to put some effort into caring for the land. The time I went back (April) happened to be the rice-transplanting season, and being able to return here to work filled me with even more anticipation.

Sharing about natural farming
Guanyu, a good neighbor of the natural farm, shared his trip to Japan to learn about natural farming, which really opened my eyes. The unforgettable variety of bean ingredients in Japan, with so many different preparations, was enviable, and I even forgot that I was eating vegetarian the whole time. Another idea, whether food scraps can be reduced in volume, and the concept of reusing food, also made me envious. I heard a lot of sharing that day, and next time I want to take a natural farming trip too.
