During the Lunar New Year holiday this year, because of extreme climate conditions, the weather turned cold for a long time and heavy rain fell. Many vegetables rotted after being soaked in water and prices rose one after another, so ordinary people ended up having a very expensive Lunar New Year of holiday dishes.

Everyone thought the farmers had made money, but in fact vegetables were expensive because there were few vegetables. When there are few vegetables, of course only a minority of farmers make money. It is not that "farmers made money," which is what farmers often describe as being able to see it but not taste it.

After Qingming Festival, the climate gradually stabilized, but vegetable prices instead slid like a playground slide, dropping rapidly. Cabbage came onto the market in large quantities, and the price fell from 25 yuan per kilogram to under 10 yuan within a few days. The farm-gate price can easily be imagined. Right now Carrefour sells one head of cabbage for 29 yuan, and farmers are actually very envious in their hearts, all hoping to sell directly so that the purchase price can break above 10 yuan. We must start launching the one-truck support-farmers effort. That is, please everyone start holding Cabbage Day. Whether it is a company, institution, school, community, or street, as long as you are willing, we will drive over to hold Cabbage Day for you, and it does not matter how much you buy.

Please do not underestimate this matter. Usually, in order to give everyone a place where they can directly pick up goods, the colleagues at the Good People Hall not only rack their brains over locations, but also have to dodge the police. Although the police know this is a public-interest action to support farmers and have not issued us fines, the psychological pressure is still very great. Therefore, neighborhood wardens, city councilors, school discipline section chiefs, community associations, and welfare committees, please contact the Good People Hall. Our farmer-supporting action needs your help. Tell us where Cabbage Day can be held, and let community joint purchasing become an action to support farmers.

Second, please have enterprises start launching Cabbage Day and treat cabbage as an employee gift. When work ends, give each person one head to take home. The funds used are small, and everyone is happy to receive it. Acting together like this helps farmers the most. Everyone also gains the sense of achievement of helping farmers with their stomachs. The current price is 15,000 yuan for 1,000 jin. On average each head is about 18 to 20 yuan, cheaper and fresher than Carrefour. Cabbage has arrived. When we buy agricultural products in abundant harvest, we ourselves get a bargain and also help farmers. Please act quickly. After a month the vegetables will be gone, and there will be no busy work left to help with. Make dumplings with cabbage, dried cabbage, and pickled cabbage. If everyone helps eat a little more, cabbage farmers will have an easier time by a little.

Needed every day, split into morning 08:30~12:00 and 13:30~18:00

3. Transportation and delivery volunteers
Help deliver to designated points every day and return to the office

Venue needs
We are constantly being chased away by the police…. That makes that day's results much worse, leaving me not knowing how to explain it to my colleagues in Hualien, or to the ginger farmers….
