After the May peach season in Biaowai, the staff wrote this postscript.

Every fruit season is also the busiest time for the tribal farmers and everyone at Taiwan Original Flavor. Every day, the farmers walk through the orchards to check on how the fruit is growing, but just like a baby's due date, this is often hard to predict. As soon as it turns hot, the peaches that were still green yesterday are all red the next day; when it turns cold, the little peaches throw a tantrum and simply refuse to ripen. Everyone just has to stay on standby, ready to pack and ship the moment they ripen.

During this period, though busy and intense, there were moments full of laughter and warmth. These were just tiny fragments of conversation scattered through everyday life. If we do not write them down, they will quickly be drowned out again by one to-do item after another. So, on the last day of May, I am writing them down to share with everyone.
One, Thank you for letting me focus on being a farmer
These words were said by Elder Yuhaw when volunteers went to the tribe to prepare to bring this year's last May peaches down the mountain for everyone, and he asked our on-site staff member Lora to pass them along. Elder Yuhaw said: "Actually, we really know nothing about selling things. All I know is how to take care of the fruit trees, fertilize, thin the fruit, and so on. Thanks to Taiwan Original Flavor and iLoveLife for their help, through the pre-order method, someone like me who does not understand sales does not have to sit at a market stall while also worrying about the peaches on the trees. I can just focus on being a farmer."
Another advantage of pre-orders is that the elders can harvest peaches at 80 percent ripeness, ship them directly after picking, and customers receive them fresh. There is also no need to worry that the peaches will soften the next day and have to be discarded. To focus on growing peaches and harvest with peace of mind is simple, yet it is every farmer's greatest wish.
Two, Take this jam home and eat it!
This week Teacher Meimao went up to the tribe. Auntie Meili, holding a big jar of peach jam, was as shy as always and called out each person's name, saying: "This jar of jam is for you to eat!" The peach jam Auntie cooked has large chunks of fruit and still keeps the peach fiber, so you can taste the fresh flavor.
In fact, this jam tastes excellent and could all be bottled and sold directly in the tribe, but Auntie Meili specially kept this jar for us, which moved everyone in the office deeply. Carrying back the heavy jar of jam felt just like Auntie Meili's sincerity, overflowing.
Three,
Some customers who received the May peaches specially left messages for us and the tribe, and these comments were also passed on to the tribal farmers! Sincere thanks.
WenHsin Kuo Received it yesterday!! It's really so delicious~~
Amber Lan Got it, really so delicious~ and I immediately picked some to cook into jam. The aroma is simply beyond words~~
Oh right, I forgot to say, although what I ordered was the cherish-blessing grade, I think it is actually still very beautiful~ I can only say peaches really are such delicate fruit… hehe
In fact, some people also received peaches that spoiled during shipping, or even got bruised by accident. But it is precisely because we have these small moments of warmth that, even though selling peaches for the tribe is very difficult and there are often customer complaints, we still keep doing it every year. Jotting down these little things in a hurry, we continue to stride forward.
Although the May peach season is over, next, if the weather is good, peaches can still be harvested. Everyone is welcome to pre-order, with production expected by the end of June!
