Institutional Framework for Sustainable Development: Brazil shows leadership as host of the Earth Summit, IFSD: NO TEXT AGREED SO FAR!

Since the preparatory meetings began on the 13th, three days of negotiations have passed, and so far no single clause of the institutional framework negotiations has reached consensus. Brazil has shown leadership as the host country and announced that meetings will continue tonight.

Means of Implementation: refers to the implementation plans to be carried out under all the consensus goals of the various United Nations global conferences
SDG: Sustainable Development Goals
MGCY: UNCSD Major Group for Children and Youth, a youth organization under the United Nations
G77: The Group of 77, one of the coalitions formed by multiple countries under the United Nations, mainly comprising developing countries.

This year's Rio+20 Earth Summit, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is in full swing
Rio+20 is not only a once-a-decade conference, it has also led to many international conventions

In order to obtain the latest information and connect with the international community, many scholars, experts and officials from Taiwan, as well as major environmental groups, have gone to participate
Yet among Taiwanese youth, participation is very limited; the four representatives of the Taiwan Youth Climate Coalition are among the few
We are deeply fortunate, yet we also bear a heavy responsibility
Recording the various happenings inside the venue from a youth perspective, making contact with senior figures from various countries, and exchanging with major NGOs
We also promote our ideals and ideas from a youth perspective, and lead by example, taking part ourselves.
