Fish every year? - Sustainable Marine Resources

Do you want fish every year? Do you know that our marine resources are on the verge of depletion? Seafood is one of the important sources of protein and quality fatty acids in the human diet, but the enormous demand plus improper fishing methods have already dealt a heavy blow to our oceans. So how should we repair the relationship between humans and the ocean? If we still want fish every year, what approach will be our way out?
Please join us in reading the story of the ocean and the fish~

This is an environmentally friendly restaurant, and we invite you to join us in using the power of eating to improve Taiwan's environment. In recent years, there have been more and more platforms and markets selling organic vegetables and fruits, but in urban areas, people who eat out still make up the majority, and very few people buy fresh fruits and vegetables to cook at home. Therefore, we use nearly 100% locally grown, in-season, pesticide-free ingredients from Taiwan to develop creative Taiwanese rice dishes, sharing with everyone the warm and delicious meals we usually eat at home. We hope to steadily purchase local, in-season agricultural products, solve farmers' sales difficulties, raise Taiwan's food self-sufficiency rate, help conventional farming transition to sustainable agriculture through contract farming, reduce pollution of forests, rivers and soil by pesticides and chemical fertilizers, and defend farmers' right to be free from harm by toxic substances. On the consumer side, we provide the public with healthy and delicious meals; every purchase is a force for protecting Taiwan's environment.

This is also a group that proves that a business (and if it can become a conglomerate in the future, a conscientious conglomerate, so much the better) can bring positive help to society and the environment. We hope to use an indigenous tribal-style operation to become a socially advocacy-oriented enterprise. The existence of this restaurant is not for making money, but making money is for keeping the restaurant in existence.

At Rice Revolution, in addition to all the ingredients being grown in a safe and environmentally friendly way, we are also very careful in choosing seasonings: non-GMO traditionally brewed soy sauce, grapeseed oil, olive oil, camellia oil and other non-refined oils, as well as fair trade pepper, curry powder and other spices. There is no MSG or any other chemical seasoning. Just like preparing a table of dishes for family, every small detail is a small step toward health, and we hope everyone who enjoys a meal can feel our love and care.

In this restaurant/environmental advocacy platform, we provide the freshest mouthwatering cuisine with local high quality organic ingredients. By supporting local eco-friendly food, we aim to promote the ideas of sustainable agriculture, healthy eating, banning of pesticides, responsible land use. Come to enjoy this home-like vibe, and you might fall in love with Taiwan more.
