Inner city radish-pulling experience, steaming rice cakes together to happily celebrate a good New Year

In the cold, pervasive air of winter, the snow-white, nutritious white radish that pushes up out of the soil is a sweet and delicious treat that heaven especially grants us in this season. For each of these little radish heads to emerge, months of painstaking cultivation are needed before the harvest can be enjoyed!

As the Lunar New Year approaches, we invite you to come down to the fields with us to pull radishes and seek good fortune. And gather together to make radish cake, so that you may have a wonderful year every year~~~

2. Event Location:Neicheng Village, Yuanshan Township, Yilan

3. Who Can Join:Those interested in experiencing rural village life, 20 people total.

4. Event Content:

1) Pulling Radishes in the Field: Freshly picked radishes grown without pesticides, to understand the hardships and importance of friendly farming.

2) Farmhouse Lunch: Rural home cooking prepared by local community mothers, tasting simple local dishes.

3) Steaming Rice Cakes Together: Local women teach how to make radish cake, learning by doing on the spot, fresh out of the steamer!

4) Rice-Based Afternoon Tea: Piping hot radish cake + rich, original-flavor rice milk, come enjoy a Taiwanese-style afternoon tea feast in love with rice!
