Bow Farmer's Market: 4/29 (Sun) 10:00~17:00 @ Treasure Hill Green Field
(This month the market opens one week later due to venue factors; all other markets are held on the third Sunday of each month!)
Eco-friendly small farmers from all over Taiwan, friendly groups concerned about agriculture, farmer friends from issue areas facing land problems, and people who care about the land gather here, bringing a variety of agricultural products from their hard work in cultivation and processing, as well as many things they want to say to one another. You are welcome to get to know these amiable producers who care for the environment, and we also hope that through the process of consumption, we can fill in our imaginings of one another.
Taiwan Rural Front, NTU Guyu Club, Taoyuan Xiangmei - The Taste of Miluhu, Taitung Liqiu - Lulakes, Master Alin's Peace of Mind Shrimp, Yeran Yexia, Gongliao Nature Is Most Precious, Xingjian Organic Agricultural Production Cooperative, Qingya'er, Black Sugar Farm, Shangxiayou News Market, Grassland Pure Brew, Wanbao Agro-Study Garden, Xiaodong River Dananpu, Guoben Mountain Farmer Collective & Rainforest Coffee, Happy Lesheng, Tucheng Ammunition Depot, Small Farmer's Table, Yelü Organic Cotton…
Bow Forum: 4/29 (Sun) 13:00~15:00 @ Treasure Hill Green Field Stage
Topic: Not Just Slow Living and Organic - The Slow Food Movement
Speakers: Nelson (Wei Nianzu), moderator of the SlowItaly fan page, & Guang Ba (Li Zhenjun) of Xiaodong River Handicraft Workshop
The concept of slow food includes: good - so-called quality and naturalness, the distinction between objectivity and subjectivity; clean - the "sustainability" of food production and "0km" in the transport process; fair - not only fair trade in the structure of the production and marketing chain. We have invited Nelson to discuss, through film, starting from the process of modern industrialized food production, and then to understand the ideas covered by slow food, and to discuss issues we have recently been concerned about around us, such as American beef or avian flu. Guang Ba of Xiaodong River Handicraft Workshop will also continue the concept of slow food in the forum and share with everyone the life of practicing slow food in the countryside!
Bow Parent-Child Craft Workshop: 4/29 (Sun) 15:00~16:30 @ Report at the market service desk

Bowing to cultivate is the farmer's humility before the crops, the sky and the earth,
and we, who receive the grace of nourishment from heaven and earth and from our farmer friends, bow to learn the land's tolerance and the farmer's steadfastness.
Bowing is a form of reflection, letting us learn to be humble toward the environment and to coexist with all things in nature;
Bowing is an attitude, letting us buy directly, consume locally, enjoy what is in season, support small farmers, and protect the environment;
Bowing is a self-expectation, letting us "from the heart" anew understand the relationship between agriculture, land, food, and you and me.
On the third Sunday of every month, Bow meets you at Treasure Hill, and let us together show the power of green consumption.
Let’s bow in gratitude to land, nature and farmers!
