So what is the money from the sales used for? "At present it is mainly used in a few areas: school construction, the volunteer mothers' fund, the printing costs for the graduation commemorative album, and the costs of off-campus visits. In addition, we have also arranged a graduation growth ceremony called 'Capable in Letters and Martial Arts,' which requires the sixth graders to complete four tests before graduation: reading, writing, running, and swimming. They read three books in total, write one essay to be graded by a junior high Chinese language teacher using the six-level scoring method, run one lap of Dapo Pond, 2.4 km, and swim 25 m. After all the children finish, points are calculated, and the money from selling rice is then used to award prizes."

From the rice-growing experience to the graduation growth ceremony, Director Chen has developed a sustainable model for operating food and agriculture education, and more importantly, has given the children a diverse and complete learning life. He said: "I once arranged a theme for each class at the school sports day, asked them to choreograph a dance, and then I connected them into a complete suite program." Director Chen's experience in a university folk dance club has filled him with passion and vitality, building this string of moving educational experiences. His food and agriculture education experience is equally wonderful, with results and a rich sense of fulfillment.
