Taole Market promotes picnic culture during Mother's Day
Mother's Day is almost here. Besides taking Mom out to a restaurant or sharing a cake, you can also eat organic ingredients and have a picnic together on the grass! Taole Market in Taoyuan City has launched a Mom's Picnic Basket, going on sale this Sunday, Mother's Day itself. The green space beside the market is a ready-made picnic spot, where you can enjoy salads, fruit, snacks and black tea made with organic ingredients, chatting leisurely with Mom through a Mother's Day afternoon.
You Don't Have to Squeeze Into a Restaurant for a Big Meal on Mother's Day
For Mother's Day, the Taole Organic Farmers' Market is launching the "Taole Life Festival," rolling out a Mom's Picnic Basket, a metal jewelry handcrafting experience and a succulent combination planter workshop on the second, third and fourth Sundays of May respectively.
Lan Yongyu, the contact person for the Taole Organic Farmers' Market, said that besides the stalls of organic farmers, Taole Market regularly holds all kinds of events, trying to promote friendlier ways of interacting between people and the land, and among people themselves. "In recent years it has been very popular to take Mom out for a big meal on Mother's Day, but is there another way to spend Mother's Day?"
The stalls at the Taole Organic Farmers' Market offer all kinds of crops, processed goods and handmade cultural and creative items. Lan Yongyu said that fruit tarts, small tomato and cheese savory pies, organic tea eggs, organic black tea bags, organic fresh vegetable salad, organic fruit platters and handmade pendants shaped like roses, combined together, make up the abundant "Mom's Picnic Basket."
Taole Market is located at the Taoyuan Arts and Cultural Center, with event space, tiered seating and a large green lawn beside the market. Provided by/Taole Market
