Mud sprayed all the way up to my shoulders and my lenses... the paddy field ridge was very steep and high
Thanks to the Liberty Times reporter for pulling me up. Here is her report.
(I kept being mistaken for a "student" who came to experience it, hehe... so embarrassing.)
Because everyone was still busy, I went alone to Jianliang's house (just a short distance away) to wash my feet. Jianliang's father is also a farmer. Seeing me slowly walking over with both feet covered in mud and my body splattered with mud, he actually gave me a thumbs-up, along with a very stylish big smile.
To receive encouragement from a professional farmer is a wonderful gift for a city slicker. It was an extremely happy and unforgettable day! Thank you to Jianliang and Peter for giving me this opportunity. After the book tour calms down, I want to go play with Mimi and the others again! :-)
