Morphological characteristics of the Dutch iron plant

The Dutch iron plant, also known as giant yucca, elephant's foot yucca, and spineless yucca, is a foliage plant in the genus Yucca of the family Liliaceae. Its Latin name is Yucca elephantipes. The Dutch iron plant has a neat plant shape, thick stems, and firm, emerald green leaves, giving it a strongly masculine and upright character.

In its place of origin, the Dutch iron plant can reach 10 m in height, while potted plants are mostly 1-2 m tall. The stem is thick, upright, and brown, with obvious leaf scars, and the base of the stem can swell to nearly spherical.
