Lily of the valley leaves turning yellow is mostly due to improper care, so remedy it in time and don't miss the window
1. Improper watering
When watering lily of the valley, there are many things to pay attention to. You should neither water too little nor too much. If you water too much, the potting soil will become too moist, which easily causes waterlogging that affects the roots' breathing and makes the roots prone to rot, which in turn affects the leaves, so at this point we must control the amount of water. If you water too little, it will easily become dehydrated, which will make the leaves become dry and yellow with no luster, so at this point we must water more frequently and increase the number of times.
2. Improper light
When growing it, we can give it as much light as possible; it must not be too little, because too little will affect its growth and make the leaves become dry and yellow. In addition, when giving it light, pay attention to its intensity; it must not be too strong, especially in summer, when you must not let it be directly exposed to the sun, otherwise the leaves will be scorched. When the light is strong, give it appropriate shade so that the leaves will not be harmed.
3. Improper fertilizing
Sometimes, in order to make it grow better, we keep applying fertilizer to it, which eventually leads to too much fertilizer, affecting the roots and making the leaves become dry and yellow. Then we need to water it with some water to dilute the fertilizer. In addition, fertilizing must not be too little either; too little will cause a lack of nutrients and cannot meet its normal growth needs, which will also make the leaves turn yellow. Then we need to apply a little fertilizer more frequently, so that the leaves can become glossy sooner.
4. Caused by pests and diseases
Sometimes, because we water too much and the temperature is relatively high, some diseases are easily triggered. These diseases will directly act on its leaves, causing great damage to the leaves and making them become dry and yellow; in severe cases, they will also harm the entire plant. So we must always pay attention to daily watering and temperature, and if diseases occur, we must also prevent and control them in time, so that the leaves can stay emerald green at all times.
