Rosemary's growing habits
Rosemary likes a warm, humid environment; growth is slow when the temperature is high, and it grows faster in winter when the weather is clear and there is no cold current.
Rosemary has many leaves, which are leathery, so it is relatively drought-tolerant; keeping the soil slightly moist is enough to meet its water needs. But the soil it is planted in should be chosen to have good drainage, which is more favorable for its growth.
In addition, note that in a natural environment, rosemary that is many years old is a shrub, but potted rosemary kept at home has a smaller plant shape and grows slowly, so it is hard to see it become woody.
